Our beloved friend, Larry Murray, developed a terminal case of pancreatic cancer and passed away in 1997. Our classmate Rick Gower provided this information to share.

From West Manor to Southwest, Larry blocked for me. Left guard and tackle for the Wolves. He was my neighbor and one of my best friends and running buddies. He and his Dad made the best pominto cheese sandwiches in the world. I still try to duplicate the spread with the onion graded in the cheese on fresh white bread, two dill pickles and of course chips. For some reasen Larry made it better.
Larry was always really sweet and funny, even though he had that "tough guy" appearance. Just shows that you can't depend on appearances. So sad that his life was cut so short.

Larry was on fact my oldest friend. We were born next door to each other on Sylvan Road! His Mom and Dad were my second parents.
