Ken died on August 1, 1974 in California. He was working for Beechcraft and was killed when the small plane he was landing collided with another airplane on the runway.
Both planes were destroyed by fire. He had served in the Viet Nam war and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO.

I was under the impression the Ken was killed in a plane crash after Viet Nam. I believe that he was employed by a private aviation company when the mishap occurred .
