After graduation, Donna pursued a career in Fashion/Modeling. Also, she was selected to be one of the Atlanta Channel 11 Girls, which gave her the opportunity to make TV appearances. Later on, Donna was employed by Eastern Airlines as a Flight Attendant.

When I got home from Vietnam, I was told of Donna's death. How sad. We were close friends and I thought she was one of the prettiest girls I have ever known. Stupid me. We never dated. We were too close. I miss her very much.

Donna was beautiful and so much more ----- she was sweet and kind-hearted. She was in my 6th grade class at West Manor. I had to get glasses that year, which I did not like very much. She made me feel so good about it. She said that she thought glasses made you look distinguished and sophisticated. Last time I saw her was at a shower for Gloria Shurbutt.
