James Dewitt (Jim) Deaux III

I was in the music business for 30+ years. I worked for Warner Brothers Records for 20 years, and owned two record stores. Bowling was also a big part of my life, I was the Georgia State Amateur Champion three times, and the SE United States Amateur Champion once. I'm in the NW Georgia Bowling Association and also the Georgia State Bowling Association Halls Of Fame. Health reasons have unfortunately finished my bowling career, I spend most of my time now collecting and listening to music.

My dad worked for the US Army. I was born in Germany, we lived there for many years and I attended Heidelberg High School until halfway through the tenth grade. When we got transferred to Atlanta, I enrolled at Southwest High School which is one of the best things that ever happened to me. I played baseball for two years and when I secretly married Linda Brooks, I lost interest and was busy spending time with her. Our daughter Julie was born in September, 1966, and she has a son named Ricky who is my only grand child.
